La microfon, pastorul se apropia de finalul predicii… În urechile a 3000 de tineri au răsunat următoarele cuvinte… “S-ar putea ca mulţi dintre voi nici să nu mai termine măcar liceul… S-ar putea ca de la această conferinţă să nu mai ajungi acasa… S-ar putea să mergi direct pe celălalt ţărm“…

După aproximativ 12 ore… pe străzile Clujului se auzea acel zgomot sumbru al sirenelor… 4 tineri erau transportaţi de urgenţă la spital, în stare gravă… A cincea, Ana Maria, era purtată de îngeri… nu mai avea nevoie de îngrijiri medicale…

În cartea de memorii, colega ei de bancă a scris: “Ana, a trebuit să mori tu, ca să mă pocăiesc eu!“…

Dusmanul nu il birui cu armele si abilitatile tale ci cu armele dusmanului, dupa ce i le iei !!!

Cultural Christianity means pursuing the God we want instead of the God who is. It is the tendency to be shallow in our understanding of God, wanting Him to be more of a gentle-grandfather type who spoils us and lets us have our own way. It is sensing a need for God, but on our own terms. It is wanting the God we have underlined in our Bibles without wanting the rest of Him too. It is God relative instead of God absolute.

A biblical Christian is a person who trusts in Christ, and Christ alone, for his salvation. As a result of his saving faith he desires to be obedient to God’s principles out of the overflow of a grateful heart (see Rom. 1:5). Obedience doesn’t save us; faith does. This explains why some men can be cultural Christians—they have a saving faith, but they have not obediently made Christ Lord over all their lives. They have not allowed the Holy Spirit to empower them.

The man in the mirror will never change until he is willing to see himself as he really is, and to commit to know God as He really is. This objectivity anchors a man; it gives him the clarity of thought he needs to be a biblical Christian.

Is the man looking back at you in the mirror a cultural Christian or a biblical Christian?

Vă amintiți când ați văzut ultima oară un film de Hollywood în care două surori luptă una pentru binele celeilalte și amândouă pentru binele altora? Ei bine, în Frozen despre asta este vorba.

Elsa e o prințesă cu puteri magice – poate să creeze zăpadă și gheață –, iar acest fapt este un prilej de bucurie pentru ea și pentru sora ei mai mică Anna, până când survine un mic accident nefericit, iar Elsa realizează că ar putea face mult rău cu aceste abilități neobișnuite ale sale.

Consecința e că se izolează de toată lumea ca nu cumva să mai facă rău cuiva. Totuși, în ziua în care trebuie să ia locul tatălui ei pe tron, lucrurile iau o întorsătură nefericită și Elsa se refugiază într-un castel de gheață, pe care și-l ridică spectaculos în munți, nefiind însă conștientă că a înghețat…

Spiritual Adultery and Fornication in the 21st-Century Church

Back in the days of the early church, being in ministry leadership was the greatest sacrifice anyone could make and it reflected the message of the greatest sacrifice that was made—the cross. To be in ministry leadership today could be as easy as ordering an ordination certificate through the mail, taking a few Bible courses, polishing your sermon presentations, learning some leadership and church-growth principles, including how to win friends and influence people, and you’re in. I know this sounds a little sarcastic, but the point is made nonetheless.

In the early church’s purest form, the cross was the power of God and the center of Christianity, ruling the lives of the early believers. They had as their examples apostolic men who apprenticed under Jesus and who hazarded their lives for the sake of the gospel. There was no mistaking the pattern and the purpose of the lives of those first-day apostles. It is the reason they had power to make radical disciples who were distinct from the world. What they preached and what they practiced enabled them to transform the minds and hearts of so many. We have so little power to transform people’s lives today because we do not preach and live the cross……………………….

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world” (1 John 2:15-17).

Lest any professing Christian take this lightly or throw this off as some legalistic form of doctrine, or a turning back to the law, let me remind you that Jesus called it the depths of Satan.

“Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known thedepths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come” (Rev. 2:24-25)………………………………………………………………

Beware of a cross-less Christianity that breeds spiritual adultery and fornication.

Mergi înainte cu credință!

1 Petru 3:15 “Ci sfinţiţi în inimile voastre pe Hristos ca Domn.” Fiţi totdeauna gata să răspundeţi oricui vă cere socoteală de nădejdea care este în voi; dar cu blândeţe şi teamă,”

Uneori nu ai pe ce să îți spijini capul. Privirea nu mai e limpede din pricina lacrimilor iar durerea te clatină. Nu știi ce să faci și nu știi cum să reacționezi. La ce să te gândești când viața ridică un zid înaintea ta?

Gândește-te la moștenirea ta! Nu ce lași aici va conta ci ceea ce strângi cu Dumnezeu e esențial. Dacă nu strângi cu Hristos atunci totul este risipit. Niciodată să nu te dai bătut și niciodată să nu pui sabia jos. Oricât de mult ar conta opinia oamenilor, ea este doar vremelnică pe când judecata lui Dumnezeu este veșnică.
Când stai în mijlocul necazurilor, când înfrunți furtunile și vânturile năpraznice să îți aduci aminte de moștenirea ta. Nimeni nu ți-o poate lua și nimeni nu ți-o poate risipi afară de tine. Răspunde încercărilor în așa fel încât să birui răul prin bine ca să aduni cu Dumnezeu. Cel mai bun răspuns în fața neprietenilor e să rodești și să te pregătești de următorul drum în alergarea pentru Hristos!

Gândește-te la cei ce te iubesc! Ei merită zâmbetul tău și cuvintele tale și dragostea ta. Ei sunt dați de Dumnezeu ca leac pentru durerile tale. Atâția oameni și-au pierdut prietenii pentru că s-au ocupat prea mult de neprieteni. Când te întrebi printre suspine unde este Dumnezeu, să te uiți spre familie, prieteni și acolo îl vei vedea pe Dumnezeu care te privește. De dragul lor să îți stergi lacrimile, să îți sufleci mânecile și să mergi înainte cu credință.

Gândește-te la trecutul și viitorul tău! Nu tot ce ai făcut e drept! Sunt amintiri care dor și ne smeresc! Cântarul de sine trebuie să fie drept și cinstit. Au fost situații când nu ai fost pocăit. De aceea e bine să taci și să aștepți în tăcere ajutorul Domnului. Să nu uiți că Dumnezeu croiește ziua de mâine. El schimbă vremurile și împrejurările. El înalță și El coboară pe oameni. Viitorul tău depinde de modul cum îți privești trecutul în ziua încercării. Dacă te smerești Dumnezeu te va înălța. E lege sfântă!

Când Pablo Casals a împlinit 95 de ani, un reporter l-a întrebat: “Domnule Casals, aveți 95 de ani și sunteți unul dintre cei mai mari violocenliști din toate timpurile. De ce încă mai exersati 6 ore pe zi?” Casals i-a raspuns: “Pentru că încă cred ca fac progrese.”

Mergi înainte cu credință…!
