Manipulation of Consciousness – Made by Walt Disney…..

We got to see and upon this …. the last Sunday (January 26th, 2014) episode (actually the second to last in the series) of the “Good Luck Charlie” introduced us for the first time in the history of children’s shows a homosexual couple …. TWO MOMS to one of Charlie’s preschool pals.

The novelty was announced last year in June ( http://www.tvguide.com/news/disney-channel-same-sex-couple-1066972.aspx ) and well received by Miley Cyrus, a former Disney icon( “I commend Disney for making this step into the light of this generation. They control so much of what kids think!”)….but NO ONE did anything serious to stop such an abomination.

Right BEFORE AIRING  the show, anti-gay group One Million Moms stated: “Just because something may be legal or because some are choosing a lifestyle doesn’t make it morally correct. Disney should stick to entertaining instead of pushing an agenda. Disney decided to be politically correct versus providing family-friendly programming… Conservative families need to urge Disney to exclude confusing topics that children are far too young to comprehend.”….. but I think it ONLY for facade.

The Walt Disney reaction for some criticism was: “This particular storyline was developed under the consultancy of child development experts and community advisors. Like all Disney Channel programming, it was developed to be relevant to kids and families around the world and to reflect themes of diversity and inclusiveness.”

Disney Channel tested the waters last year with its on-air social outreach campaign “Make Your Mark.” In one segment, a teen with two moms was featured, a move that was called a “big step forward” by GLAAD.

Personally, I have not heard this phrase (“a big step…..”) from landing on the moon.

Really???? Is so big step…..?

A Struggling Addict Finds Renewal Through ‘God Will Provide’ – Part II

God Will Provide began in a living room with five recovering addicts, or students, and two pastors in 2005.  It has   multiplied since, first establishing the men’s rehabilitation facility, followed by a women’s center, and missionary college.  Based largely on donations from local churches, fundraisers, and missionary services held by Fountain of Life Church, God Will Provide has expanded orphanages and/or churches in countries worldwide including Austria, Honduras, India, Bangladesh, Mozambique, Kenya, and Ukraine; plans for Somalia are in its early stages.  Interestingly, “every single one of these [establishments was started] by people who were ex-addicts…  Every single one of them were all students in the program at one point,” reveals Andy.

“My lifestyle [has] changed so dramatically that they’re not really expecting [me to] slip…  There are some people [who] go through the program that fall, of course.  They’re hoping I’d never be one of them and I know I’ll never be one of them…  Every time I would even get a thought [to use], I’d think of the nightmare that it was.  It was a nightmare.  Never again…  Never, never, ever, ever.”

A Struggling Addict Finds Renewal Through ‘God Will Provide’ – Part I

Two years into their marriage, Nadja learned in part what Andy had been secretly involved in.

“I noticed [Andy] was acting differently and I kept asking him what was going on…”

“…I was just fed up and I had to tell [Nadja…]:  ‘I have a problem.  Sometimes I do [drugs] and I can’t stop.’  I didn’t want to tell her I was fully addicted because I wanted to get clean and then tell her…”  Andy didn’t want to worry his bride.

Nadja struggled to comprehend her husband’s addiction.  “After he told me he had a problem, I didn’t understand why he couldn’t stop if he knew it hurt me.  And it was hard to believe that a person [I] loved and trusted had been lying to [me]…  I didn’t know where to turn.  I felt helpless and I prayed every night for him; sometimes, just [cried] alone asking God to change him, help him – and us.  It was the hardest time of my life.”

Nadja “realized that when an addiction consumes [someone], [they] can’t stop for anyone – not [their] parents, brother, or wife.  Andy [needed] to do it for himself and only with God’s help.”

Andy planned to change and he was determined to do it on his own.

“…he literally stayed up all night long,” remembers Nadja.  “I sat there on the bed with him and he went through the withdrawals… [it was] the worst thing in the world and-”

“-you feel like dying when you come off this stuff.  It’s not only physical.  It’s mental. It’s everything.  You feel like you want to commit suicide…” remarks Andy.

Nadja was desperate for help and with little money to spare, she didn’t know where to begin.

Biserica baptistă din Atlanta, Georgia, împlineşte în acest an trei decenii de existenţă

„Încă de la început, grupului de români i s-a deschis uşa la Biserica First Baptist Church of Atlanta, păstorită de Charles Stanley; Capela bisericii, de o frumuseţe şi eleganţă neobişnuită, a fost pusă la dispoziţia românilor. Acest lucru a avut un efect pozitiv, încurajator asupra micului grup, care la început se aduna într-o parte a capelei, pe două, trei bănci”. În  timpul care a urmat, numărul membrilor a crescut într-o asemenea măsură, încât după aproximativ doi ani, capela a devenit neîncăpătoare. Având în vedere cerinţele tot mai mari în continuarea activităţii în toate planurile, la cererea întregii comunităţi, în luna august 1985, fratele Titi Cocian, fost pastor la biserica Bethleem din Chicago, împreună cu familia, s-a mutat în Atlanta. În scurt timp a fost ales al doilea pastor al bisericii……

There you are sitting in worship or Bible study. Your child, or toddler, is restless. Perhaps they’re even a little boisterous. You try to silence them, and nothing. You try to pacify them with food or toys, and nothing. Eventually, you resort to the last thing you wanted to do: you pick them up, and before a watching audience, you make the march out of the auditorium. All the while, you’re a little embarrassed. Maybe you’re a little frustrated too. You might even think to yourself, “There’s no point in coming to church. I get nothing out of it because I have to constantly care for my kid.”………
